I completed my Ph.D. at Stony Brook University in 2013 with a specialization in 18th-century libertine art, and an Advanced Graduate Certificate in Philosophy & Art.
I'm currently seeking representation for my book on Fragonard's Le Verrou, c. 1778. Through a detailed analysis of the artist's choice to include hidden erotic imagery in the painting, I explore the artist's playful subversion of decorum, as well as his clever nod to the timeless debates on genre.
